Beeswax: made by bees to make the honeycomb. Beeswax has been used since ancient times for skin care and wound care. It is occlusive and so seals in moisture. 

Sweet Almond Oil: soothing, healing, lubricating, softening, revitalising and nourishing. 

Grapeseed Oil: light oil that is easily absorbed. Contains vitamins, minerals, protein, GLA and some vitamin E.

Coconut Oil: supports tissue healing and repair; supports the natural chemical balance of the skin; softens skin and helps relieve dryness and flaking.

Olive Oil: a heavy warming oil rich in vitamins, minerals, proteins and essential fatty acids especially alpha linolenic acid.

Sunflower Oil: hydrating, calming, protecting, and soothing. Contains oleic acid, vitamin E, sesamol, linoleic acid. Linoleic acid helps to maintain the skin’s natural barrier, supporting its ability to retain moisture. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect when used topically. This makes it beneficial for dry skin.

Lanolin: also called hydrous wool fat. Extracted from wool of sheep. It is an exceptional moisturiser due to it's ability to absorb more than twice its own weight in water. It's chemical composition is similar to our own skin oils.

Calendula officianalis: anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and wound healing properties 

Hypericum perforatum: or as it is known, St John’s wort, has been used as a remedy since ancient times externally to treat wounds and burns.

Lavender: abscesses, acne, bruises, burns, dermatitis and eczema, wounds, has a calming effect on headaches,  migraine, insomnia

Palmarosa: antiseptic & cell regenerator for acne, dermatitis, and general skincare, moisturising and soothing on dry skin 

Peppermint: inflammation, dermatitis, skin infections, summer heat (cools skin), arthritis
